Your new local diner located in South Lansing; featuring great breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is a family-run diner opened in January of 2015. Here the owner is your grill master and plate assembler. The wife is the soup-maker, the French toast stuffer, the sauce preparer and the all around nit-picker. By the way, the owner/grillmasters name is Jon, not Dan. Dan stands for the initials of his three children.
We specialize in home-made indulgent breakfast selections such as cinnamon roll pancakes, French toast stuffed with a sweet cream cheese or topped with our custard and raspberry sauces. We also have traditional breakfast items, such as omelets, skillets, and corned beef hash.
For lunch we have a large selection of coney dogs (both Detroit and Flint style) and hot dogs (Chicago style anyone?). We have gyros. The meat is sliced fresh for each pita sandwich and the condiments are piled high. We also have a thick, sweet, home-made rice pudding topped with whipped cream and cinnamon. If you prefer a slice of pie we carry fresh, locally prepared Grand Traverse pies.
